I’ve checked out the db2 side and it looks fine, this user can connect and the db2 says there are no error messages in the db2 log. Refine your search by using the following advanced search options.

Problems using Squirrel against DB2 on z/OS
I followed the answer and the comment by Gas, only it complains for license during adding alias. Following com.ibm.db2jdbc.net.db2driver the contents of the Upgrade DB step log: Mike iReport Designer 4. I know it works since I was able to select a particular schema during the Services Connection setup process.
If it wasn’t a ‘Class Not Found Error’ I would have something else to suggest but for now it seems it finds path to the jar but just not finding the Driver class within the jar. Products Solutions Services Resources.
Having it in the list is reasonable. But you can just type in the correct class and things will work as they should. The class driver is com.
DB2 JDBC Driver and URL Information
Give this a try. I’m using the type4 driver hot. JDBC Driver class not found: Did you supply that field? I wouldn’t call the choice in iReport a bug to be corrected. I placed the db2jcc. You have to provide the path to the jar in the step under the DB Driver Jar field. Where does the db2jcc. The result is still the same. Here’s my summary of the DB2 drivers that I put together for my own use. DB2Driver in the db2jcc.
Try lower case com. Recreate the alias and try the connection. The proposed url is correct for this driver.
